  3. Esther was my mothers sister and with my parents being abroad she was my second mother and made me welcome to visit at Orpington and to stay at 10 Kings Hall Road, Beckenham. Even when she went to Oz we used to skype often.
Thank you for all your kindness

  4. Very sad that my Great Aunt Esther is no longer with us. I definitely inherited her love of dogs. I am thankful to Jeanne-Marie for ensuring I and her great great neice and nephew, Mabel and Sid, were able to see her as often as we did. I will always remember a post card of a blue budgie that she sent me a few years ago. Thinking also of all of her children who have lost their mum. X

  5. Great grandchildren, Melissa and Isabel loved their visit to Australia recently, remembering Mum with fondness. We will all remember how she enjoyed her spicey dips at Lake
    Wenderee.

  6. I send my condolences to all the family of Dorothy Esther Eayrs .Unfortunately I could not come to Ballarat for the funeral for a number of reasons. It was just too difficult.I am so glad that I had some quality time together over lunch and coffee in Ballarat a while ago before she became unwell. We shared memories and laughs about family and we used to have long conversations on the phone about her life in India and Ceylon and we had something in common as I spent my early childhood in Ceylon/Sri Lanka. She helped me to understand some of my family History for which I am grateful.
