Lorraine Lawrence (née Elliott)

Born on December 30, 1941. Passed away February 25, 2022.

I’d like the memory of me

I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.

I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,

Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.

I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun;

Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.

  3. I was saddened today to hear of Lorraine’s passing. I wished I could have attended the service to pay my respects to her. We worked together for many years and she was someone I had the greatest admiration for both as a person and workmate. Great sense of humour with a “can do” approach to everything but a steady and confident calm that could put you at ease and believe that all was well in the world. What a sadness for Bill, Amanda and Scott and families. She loved her family. The last time I spoke with her a few years back, she was enjoying being a grandmother and lending a steady hand at the Sebastopol Bowls Club. Beautiful and gracious lady I will remember with deep respect. Farewell Lorraine.
