  1. There’s an empty chair at the table where you used to sit
A conversation unsaid where you always knew a bit
With saddened eyes we watched you suffer
    And saw you fade away
Your maker too, saw that you were in pain
He checked His book and called your name
Stanley, it’s time to come to Me
And with these words he set you free
A big heart has stopped beating
Hardworking hands are now at rest

    Goodbye old friend

    Rest in Peace

With deepest sympathy to Nina, Jill, Leanne, Kerrie, Paul, Danny, Tony and all of the O’Donnell and associated families.

  3. As a young man, we use to see you drive past our place in your truck, waving and smiling as you went pass, I can still see you waving and smiling back at us. You will never be forgotten. I was going to pop home and see you, but your truck has passed for the very last time. PS, I have not worn flannelette since the 80s :).

  7. Pa or should I say tree lopper Stan, Remember them days mate, when you would kindly come to the farm. And help us out cutting some fire wood. Despite all the wood on the ground you were never quite content with that. I would be picking up the wood you cut to load on the Ute. And suddenly the chainsaw would stop. I’d turn around and here you are staring up to the heavens looking for the biggest tree to cut down. Mum and I would load it all up on the Ute only for you to notice it wasn’t quite a full load. So the chainsaw would start up again, it just had to be a full load.
Love you mate you are irreplaceable, inspirational and your commitment to work and putting others first is inspiring to me Thanks pa
