Jim was a wonderful family GP. He always made time to squeeze us in if we needed to see him. He was kind, generous, and a wonderful doctor. I saw Jim on the 5th of September and he was in good spirits. I was in agony and he saw me in between home visits. I was devastated to hear of his passing the following day. I was in hospital and my room ate was also a patient if Jim’s. We cried and talked about in into the night. Jim will be greatly missed in Ballarat. He was more than our doctor, he was a friend. It was great sadness to hear of the sudden passing of Jim. May he rest now and his family, friends and that of the furry kind be gentle on themselves. Sending love to Stephanie and Jims family

Dear Jim,
I am certain like most of your patients, colleagues, friends and family I could write a book about how my life has been enriched by knowing you. I will remember you as a good man and an extraordinary doctor who treated me always with compassion, professionalism, humour, wisdom, intuition, patience and generosity.
