Passed away peacefully. Husband of Dorothy (deceased). Father of Darren, Scott and Drew (deceased). Father-in-law of Kelly and Cao She, Grandfather of Dean, Jarrod (deceased), Morgan, Atlanta, Summer, Ginger, Dash and Daz, Great Grandfather of Finn and Elliott.

A friend, and fully committed member to the Ballarat West Probus Club, having served for many years as Treasurer and many other roles. Allan was not afraid to throw himself into anything that benefited members, and mainly made life fun. He also for many years voluntarily carted hundreds of books along each meeting for a free take/borrow literary table. Nothing was too much trouble for Allan, and he was game to try anything, including being a very large tu-tu Cinderella, decked in golden (work boots) slippers in one of our Panto’s. His wife Dot was the love of his life, who left us all in shock at her unexpected departure from this life. He carried on for her, and lived as usefully and fully as possible; a great friend to many, including ourselves and will be soundly missed. There will be great rejoicing in heaven as he finds his perfect partner again. Thanks Allan for who you were, and the examples you always showed. Sandra & Rupert Brown
