It’s sad to think that Bec will no longer grace this world. I will remember the uni days and all the time we spent together fondly. The world is a lesser place without you in it. Love to family, friends and friends that are family.

So the live stream went down! Sitting here in front of a blank screen is rather an odd feeling. It is always hard to say goodbye and Pat and myself put some time away to be with our friends as Bec’s life was celebrated by those who loved her.
For some time I have wrestled with the words to put into writing how full my heart is.Bec was part of a very special time in the growth of BAPPA. Yep a very special time filled with love, discovery and development of some very special skills. The students that held each other close, developed a love and trust for each other has endured, grown and all of Bec‘s contemporaries continue to influence the world in creative and extraordinary ways connecting and influencing each other in so many ways.
Bec was a solid and secure influence on everyone she met and worked with. Open, honest and oh, so talented. She could sing up a storm, perform a leading role, secure an ensemble, run lights, sound and company manage a show. Oh, and I forgot, could that woman bake!
Yep, goodbyes are hard, especially when they are part of a great big family which embraces you as their own. Travel well beautiful Bec knowing you will live on in our hearts. Just get that heavenly choir sorted, make sure it starts on time and keep it in shape until we can all sing from the same songbook once more.

What a beautiful celebration of a life of a gorgeous, courageous, loving, talented lady. I will always treasure the time I got to know you & especially perform on stage with you Bec. Your talent of cake decorating was amazing, will always remember my mum’s 70th birthday cake & how you brought my idea to life. Until we meet again my dear friend, say hi to my mum.

Devastated at the loss of the live stream, as I can’t be there in person and feel the absence of that acutely. I feel like we’d be having a laugh about the tech fail though (if only you were at the controls).

I will miss you so much Bec. You were an incredible human being, and I feel awfully blessed that I had the chance to cross your path and create beautiful things with you (not least of which was your ballet with a hat stand).

Your talent was extraordinary, your humour epic and your spirit unmatched.

You are indeed deeply loved and your memory isn’t just a blessing, it’s a showstopper.

I am holding your family and that vast community of friends (many of which we share) in my heart.

Bec was one of my best friends at Villa, she inspired me more than she will ever know to lead an authentic life and follow your passions. When I found her again on Facebook years later I was so glad she had continued to follow that path! I’m glad that so many of you have been able to experience this wonderful human!

It was so hard that the live stream went down, but I’m glad that Bec’s tribe could be there for her x

Sending love to all that are hurting.

Bec, you are loved. Now and always
