When I Come to The End of the Road (Excerpt from “Let Me Go” written by Christine Georgina Rossetti)

When I come to the end of the road,
And the sun has set for me,
I want no rites in a gloom filled room
Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little – but not for long.
And not with your head bowed low.
Remember the love that once we shared.
Miss me, but let me go.
For this is a journey we must all take,
And each must go alone.
It’s all part of the master plan,
A step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick at heart,
Go to the friends we know,
Laugh at all the things we used to do.
Miss me, but let me go.

  1. One of life’s true gentlemen. Nick had a big heart, a kind soul and an amazing gift of caring for others. A family man and a great friend to many. Taken way to early and he will leave a hole that cannot be filled.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Chris, Lewis, Ally and Rubes and family.
Lots of love Janet and Damian Ross. ❤️❤️

  2. Any one who met Nick Moore would never forget him. Although I can only claim to know Nick through being a neighbour of his father, with his warm personality, wit and sense of humour it felt as though one had known him for most of his life. And since the diagnosis of his cancer, Nick played down its cruel effect on him and wouldnt allow it to define who he was, but instead met it face to face with a rather gentle defiance. My heartfelt sympathy to his father Richard, and to all his family who have given him such caring support.
And as for you Nick, dare I predict that the heavenly host has given you a rousing welcome and enjoying your company , which we will all miss so much.
